Lioness Recruitment – careers handled with care. An established not-for-profit business are seeking an IT Manager to join the Leadership team. This role offers majority remote working with one day per week required working from offices in South London.

Your daily responsibilities will be to manage the small IT team of three, IT budgets & business strategy and oversee the whole of IT for the business covering both infrastructure, applications, and data. You will be responsible for governance, data management and security, contract management, IT strategy, performance management etc. As this is managing a relatively small team you must be comfortable being hands-on.

Essential experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of working as an IT Manager/ IT Lead/ Infrastructure Manager/ Systems Manager/ Applications Manager or similar, and ideally from within a not-for-profit setting
  • Experience of all aspects of people management – recruitment, performance management, appraisals etc
  • Change management
  • Database management and strong MS SQL toolkit (SSRS, SSIS & SSMS)
  • Solid understanding of MS technologies such as SharePoint, InfoPath & ideally PowerApps
  • Networking, infrastructure & applications
  • Stakeholder experience at all levels
  • Third party supplier management and contract negotiation
  • Budget management
  • Experience of project management and successful delivery of projects end to end
