Lioness Recruitment take their specialist experience to find specialist careers. An established not-for-profit business is seeking an Application Support Manager to join the Leadership team. This role offers hybrid working, with approximately three days per week working from offices based in Devon.

Your daily responsibilities will be to manage the applications team (including people and performance management) as well as supporting and delivering wider IT & digital projects. You will regularly review business applications in use to ensure they are fit for purpose, foster good relationships with various third-party suppliers and ensure all project/upgrade works are delivered on time and to budget.

Essential experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of working as an Applications/Systems Manager or similar
  • Systems analysis/ application support/ business analysis
  • Experience of all aspects of people management – recruitment, performance management, appraisals etc
  • Database management – SQL & Oracle ideally
  • Stakeholder management experience at all levels
  • Third party supplier management
  • Budget management
  • Experience working with public sector applications such as housing management software, asset management software, GIS, electoral systems, revenues systems would be highly advantageous for this role although not essential
